Be a Creater Camp

Topic:  Be a Creator (For high school students)
Dates:

  • June 22 & 23, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Georgia Southern Campus in Statesboro or
  • June 29 & 30, 9 am. to 4 p.m. at the Georgia Southern Armstrong Campus in Savannah.

LIttle Devils Cheer Camp

Topic:  Little Devils Cheer Camp 
Dates:  June 23-25, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. 
Ages:  Rising Kindergarten through eighth-grade students

Football Camp

Topic: Southeast Bulloch  Jacket Football Youth Skills & Drills Summer Camp
Dates:  July 19 to July 21
Ages: 6 years old through rising 8th graders 
Fees: $75

All campers will receive a free camp t-shirt. Campers should bring their own water bottles or sports drinks, t-shirt, shorts, cleats or tennis shoes, and all campers should be pre-registered using the online link below.  Register by June 25 to ensure accurate t-shirt size.  Camp registration can be paid by cash or check at the check-in table on the first day of camp.  Check in starts at 8 a.m.

Youth Summer Programs

Topic: Archery and Air Rifle Skills
Dates: Various dates available
Fees:  Fees vary

Check out the various camps available at the Georgia Southern Shooting Sports Education Center for youth.  These are fun skills to either learn as a hobby or for our students who want to begin learning or improve their archery or air rifle skills to compete in either 4H Project SAFE shooting sports or our high schools' Junior Reserve Officers Training Corp air rifle teams.

Basketball Camp

Topic:  Brian Burg Little Eagles and Individual Basketball Camps for Boys

Dates:  June 28 - July 1

  • Little Eagles:  9 a.m. - 12 noon for boys ages 4 to 6; and
  • Individuals:  9 a.m. - 12 noon for boys ages 7 to 18

Leadership Camps for Teens

Youth Summer Leadership Camp

Topic: Teen Summer Program - Leaders in Training (Ages 13 to 16)
Dates: Daily, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., from June 1 through July 23
Fees: $50/week (Y Members), $75/week (Non-Members).  Financial assistance available.

This eight-week program will provide participants with both leadership and valuable life skills.  Leaders will gain new leadership skills through trainings and certifications, practical learning exercises, field trips, seminars, and community involvement. At the end of summer, Leaders will create and present group projects based on what they have learned throughout the duration of camp.  By the end of the summer, leaders will have the option to complete CPR/ First Aid training and Babysitting certifications.
