Return to School Plan & Options

In response to COVID-19, Bulloch County Schools offers both a traditional, face-to-face and a virtual instructional model for students in Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade. You can review aspects of both models below.

  • Prior to each semester, parents will choose the instruction model that best meets their child's needs.
  • Please note that if your choice is to withdraw your child completely from our school district to either home school or make other education choices for your child, please complete this form to officially withdraw your child from school.
  • Families without Internet access will be contacted either by telephone or home visit to register their choice.
  • Bulloch County Schools' Return-to-School Plan has been developed with guidance from Georgia's Path to Recovery for K-12 Schools that was developed by the Georgia Department of Education and the Georgia Department of Public Health, in consultation with the office of Georgia Governor Brian Kemp.
Step One: Review the Return-to-School Plan Options

Parents and guardians should carefully review the school district's return-to-school plan options.

  • We ask you to commit to the choice you make for the first semester, which is 78 instruction days from August 17 through December 18.
  • We ask parents to commit to an instruction model for a semester because it is in the student's best interest for academic success to not randomly switch between the models. Also, it will help the school district to appropriately distribute faculty across the two models. However, how a child is educated and school attendance always remain a parent's choice.
  • The school district will send you parents and guardians a new questionnaire in November 2020, to ask you to make a choice for the second semester by December 1, 2020. The second semester is 89 instruction days from January 6 through May 26, 2021.
  • You can learn more about the traditional model and the virtual model via these links and quick reference flyers are attached below.  If you would like information about about all of the public health safe guards we have put in place for the traditional model, visit our frequently asked questions page.

Step Three: You Will Need An Infinite Campus Parent Account

You will need an Infinite Campus Parent Account in order to update your child's information for the new school year and to make your instruction model choice.

  • If you know your Infinite Campus Parent Account username and password, and you are ready continue, you can proceed to Step Four.
  • Don't think you have an account? If you are the parent of a returning student, and you did not have an Infinite Campus Parent Account, we created one for you. We emailed a username and password to you in April, to provide access to student report cards; however, if you did not access that email, you can still recover your account's username and password. Watch this how-to video on our website to assist you.
  • Have an account, but don't remember how to access it? Our how-to video can assist you as well.
  • If these tips to help you recover your account were unsuccessful, complete an online request for help.
