Automatic Withdrawal

Students who fail to attend any required class meetings for 10 consecutive school days will be withdrawn for lack of attendance.  Failure to provide evidence of transfer for students under age 16 will result in a referral to the Division of Family and Children Services, as required by the Official Code of Georgia 20-2-785.

Students automatically withdrawn due to non-attendance will be placed in probationary status with a required parent-teacher conference required to develop an academic contract prior to re-entry into the virtual program.  Students automatically withdrawn who do not attend a meeting within one week of being informed of withdrawal, but wish to re-enroll, shall automatically be placed back in the face-to-face program with no opportunity to enroll in the Virtual Program during the current or next academic year.
