Step-by-Step Request Process

Step 1: Carefully review the Bulloch County Board of Education's policy, JBCCA Student Assignment to Schools.  A copy may also be obtained at the Bulloch County Schools Central Office at 150 Williams Road, Statesboro, by emailing the Board Secretary, Mary Henley or by calling 912.212.8500. A printable School Choice Privilege flyer is also available on this webpage for you that explains the program and answers frequently asked questions.

Step 2: Complete a School Choice Privilege Transfer Form via an online electronic survey anytime during the request period which for 2022 to 2023 school year was 7:30 a.m., on Monday, May 2, 2022 through 4:00 p.m., on Friday, May 20. Parents who do not have internet access, or otherwise need assistance with completion of the school transfer request form should call 912.212.8562 prior to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022.

Step 3: You will be notified of the acceptance or rejection of your application via e-mail, if you have an e-mail address on file. If you do not have an e-mail address on file, you will be notified via U.S. mail. Please allow up to three weeks for processing and mail delivery.

For those who submit a request for 2022-2023, by the deadline, please contact Bulloch County Schools if you do not receive your decision letter by Monday, June 13, 2022.
