Parents' Right to Know

In compliance with the requirements of the Every Student Succeeds Act , parents may request the following information:

Whether their child's teacher has met state qualifications and licensing criteria for the grade levels and subject areas in which the teacher provides instruction.
Whether their child's teacher is teaching under emergency or other provisional status through which state qualification or licensing criteria have been waived.
Whether their child's teacher is teaching in the field of discipline of the certification of the teacher.
Whether their child is provided services by paraprofessionals and, if so, their qualifications.

If you wish to request information about a teacher's or a paraprofessional's qualifications, please contact the principal at your child's school.

Parents and guardians have a right to be involved in the planning and implementation of the Parent & Family Engagement Program at their child's school.
