Sex Education Parent Toolkit
Bulloch County Schools acknowledges that parents and guardians are the primary sex educators for their children. Our educators are committed to partnering with you to provide supplementary resources to support you in this role, so we recommend the following to families:
-
Attend a parent review session. No registration for the session is necessary. This is for both our Human Trafficking and Sex Education lessons.
-
Review more about why we provide sex education and human trafficking awareness lessons to students here.
-
Review the available Parent Toolkits for grades six to nine. These can provide additional parent resources and conversation starters you can use a home with your child. Obtain one for your child's grade level in one of the following ways:
-
Request a toolkit in person at one of the school district's parent review sessions
-
Request a toolkit from your child's Health or Physical Education teacher who teaches the lessons.
-
Request a toolkit by email for your child's grade level from the program's curriculum director
