What is Generative Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence, or AI as it is more commonly known, is a broad category for any computer program that can think and learn to solve problems.
Generative Artificial Intelligence, or Gen AI, is a specific kind of AI that focuses only on creating new, original things. It is a digital tool to help solve problems. It is very much like a very smart calculator for words and ideas.

- March 20, 2026: High schools will present students information about responsible Gen AI using the district's facilitator's guide.
- March 23, 2026: Bulloch County Schools will turn on student access to Gemini and Notebook Language Model (LM) for high school students.
