Sex Education Parent Toolkit

Bulloch County Schools acknowledges that parents and guardians are the primary sex educators for their children. Our educators are committed to partnering with you to provide supplementary resources to support you in this role.

• Register to attend an upcoming parent review session

• Review more about why we provide sex education  and human trafficking awareness lessons to students here.

• Review the scope and sequence of the courses for each grade. 

• Review the Parent Toolkits posted below for additional resources and conversation starters you can use at home with your child.

Curriculum Review Sessions for Families

• Attend a Parent Curriculum Review Session. The school district will host review sessions two weeks prior to the beginning of sex education each semester. Learn more about upcoming sex education sessions here or Learn more about upcoming human trafficking awareness lessons here.

• Contact your child's Health or Physical Education teacher.

• Contact your school's principal for an individual review session at the school.

• Contact the school district's Central Office at 912.212.8500 and make an appointment with Debbie Sarratt, the School Improvement Director who oversees the Sex Education program.
