Parent Night

 

Parents​ are invited to attend Bulloch County Schools' District Parent Night o​n Tuesday, March 11, from 5:30 ​t​o 7 p.m.​, at Langston Chapel Middle School​.​ 
 
Free childcare and language translation services are available for the event. Families are asked to pre-register via the link above especially if you will need these services. 
 
Your involvement will empower you to be part of your child's academic success. Families of students in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12th grade can benefit from multiple mini-workshops. Choose the ones that will best help you support your child's learning:

  • Understanding 504 & ​I​ndividualized Learning Plans
  • i-Ready ​T​esting
  • Georgia Milestones Testing
  • End-of-Course ​Test Prep​aration
  • Work-Based Learning 
  • Dual Enrollment
  • ​Title I programs​
Extras for ​families include the following:
  • ​Free childcare for K-5 children
  • Free refreshments
  • Free language translation services
  • A visit from the Chick-fil-A Cow
  • ​The Book Bus - pick out a free children's book to take home

Learn About Our Family Engagement Program

Parent and Family Engagement is an ongoing process to increase active participation, communication, and collaboration between parents families, schools, and the community. The goal is to educate the whole child to ensure student achievement and success. When schools and families support each other, we can create meaningful partnerships that can result in students of all backgrounds and abilities achieving at higher levels. 

Bulloch County Schools is committed to continually enhancing our engagement with parents, families and the community. The Family Engagement Program believes that when parents, guardians, schools, families, and communities work together then can establish meaningful partnerships that ultimately lead to significant improvement across the board in student achievement.
