  • Chills
  • Congestion or Runny Nose

COVID Information

The school district follows its normal health plan for slowing the spread of COVID and any illnesses.

  • Monitor your family's health daily. Use the health check above as a guide.
  • If sick, remain home until well and fever-free for at least 24 hours without the aid of medication
  • The school district no longer conducts contact tracing for COVID. You do not need to report COVID absences to your school.
  • If exposed to COVID, you do not have to quarantine. Simply, monitor your health and remain home if  you become sick.
  • You are not required to have a COVID test, simply remain home if you are sick. If you do decide to test, and you test positive for COVID, follow isolation guidance from the Georgia Department of Public Health,

Send a note to school after absences

When children return to school after an absence, please submit an absence excuse online or send a signed note to the school from either the parent/guardian or a doctor. Be sure to Include the date(s) and reason for the absence.  Please review the school district's attendance expectations in the Bulloch County Schools Student Handbook. These expectations also provide information about how make-up work and when it is permitted.
