School Choice Privilege
What is School Choice?
In accordance with the Bulloch County Board of Education's policy JBCCA: Student Assignment to Schools, a parent or legal guardian may elect to submit to the superintendent's designee a written request that their child(ren) in grades Kindergarten through twelfth grade, attend another public school in the Bulloch County School System.
In 2020, a new policy, JBCCA: Student Assignment to Schools, made significant changes to the school district's School Choice Privilege processes in order to address continued enrollment growth in many areas within Bulloch County.
When May You Apply?
- For the 2025/2026 school year the window to make school choice requests will be open online
- Monday, April 28, at 7:30 a.m., and remain open through Friday, May 16, 2025, at 4:30 p.m.
- If you plan to apply for school choice and you need assistance by telephone to apply, then please do so by Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
