Statement of Non-Discrimination

As required by Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, Title II of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Age Discrimination Act of 1975, and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the Bulloch County Board of Education does not discriminate on the  basis of race, color, religion, national origin, disability, age or sex/gender. In keeping with the Board’s commitment and the requirements of applicable state and federal laws, the Board, Bulloch County Schools and its employees strive to remove any vestige of discrimination in the following areas: employment; assignment and promotion of personnel; educational services and opportunities offered to students; location and use of facilities; educational materials; and all business transactions conducted by the Board. Address questions, concerns or complaints which relate to the nondiscrimination policies and practices to a coordinator designated by the superintendent of schools. These are listed below.

Career Pathways Offered by Bulloch County Schools

Bulloch County Schools offers a College & Career Academy program that includes career, technical, and agricultural education career pathways and career technical student organizations.  These programs are designed to prepare youth for a broad range of employment and further education and are offered under the guidance of certified teachers. All of the school district's College & Career Academy programs, which includes career, technical, and agricultural education pathways, follow the school district's policies of nondiscrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, age, and disability in all programs, services, activities, and employment. In addition, arrangements can be made to ensure that the lack of English language proficiency is not a barrier to admission or participation.
