Kiwanis donates to Project Eaglet
Kiwanis Club of Statesboro donates $20,000 to Georgia Southern University to help launch Project Eaglet. The program provides learning experiences on the University's campus for Bulloch County Schools' students in grades one through five. The school district covers student meals and transportation for the program.

A community collaborative between Bulloch County Schools, Georgia Southern University, and the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro.

Purpose

Project Eaglet is designed to provide elementary children in grades first through fifth the opportunity to gain insight into five learning experiences on the campus of Georgia Southern University, which may potentially spark their interest in future college and career opportunities.

Learning Experiences

"We are excited about this collaboration, and the opportunities that it will provide for our elementary school children in first- through fifth grade. This is another great example of community resourcefulness, and how we can partner to provide children with beneficial learning experiences at Georgia Southern University. We are thankful to the Kiwanis Club of Statesboro and Georgia Southern for their support and commitment to our mission of preparing students for success and enhancing the value of our community."
