Employee Recruitment Fairs

This is what you can expect at our employee recruitment fairs:

• Information: 
  • Learn about our many career opportunities.
  • Learn about current and future job openings.
  • Learn how to create an online profile on Bulloch County Schools’ online jobs website, so you can be considered for any current or future job postings. 
  • If you are a teacher, learn how to become certified to teach in Georgia.
  • Learn how you can become certified to teach If you have a four-year degree in a field other than education.
  • Learn about each of our schools, learning programs, and key departments as they each host exhibit areas in a trade show-like atmosphere, which can help you know more about them and make decisions about where you'd like to work and for which jobs you may want to apply.
• Meet and greet: The school district's principals and hiring supervisors and members of their leadership teams will be stationed at their booths ready to meet you. It's a great opportunity to explore, ask questions, and have conversations about careers with Bulloch County Schools. Networking with the leaders who make the hiring decisions can help you stand out as an applicant.
• Register to win: Attend a Recruitment Fair and register to win one of four $25 Visa Cards.
• Complete a paper application: If you are interested in our bus driver, bus monitor, school food services, or custodian jobs and are unable to access our online job application, you may attend the Employee Recruitment Fair and complete a paper application.

Bulloch County Schools encourages interested applicants for all job types to attend our recruitment fairs: administrators, teachers, special education teachers and support professionals, counselors, nurses, clerical workers bookkeepers, school food services workers, school bus drivers, school bus monitors, custodians, paraprofessionals, and more.

Applicants who are interested in being a substitute for any of these type positions are also encouraged to attend.  See our current list of openings. Please note that during our main hiring season between February to August, jobs are posted frequently.

Bulloch County Schools hosts multiple employee recruitment events throughout the school year.

• For teachers:
  • We participate in on-campus recruitment events at each of Georgia's post-secondary, public colleges and universities which have a college of education. Check your schools' event listings.
  • We network with student teachers who work in our school district
• For bus drivers, our Transportation Department hosts pop-up recruitment events at various locations in Bulloch County. 
• For all job types, Bulloch County Schools hosts an annual Employee Recruitment Fair each February from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, at Statesboro High School. Interested applicants for teaching and non-teaching positions are welcome.

Bulloch County Schools is our county's second-largest employer with more than 2,400 full-time, part-time, contracted services, seasonal, and substitute employees. We serve more than 11,400 students through 15 schools, three alternative learning centers, and four office complexes.
