The Bulloch County School Food Authority is requesting sealed bids for School Nutrition for Food Products.
This request for proposals is intended to result in a fixed price contract for one year, July 01, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The Bulloch County School System is tax-exempt.

Local Produce
The District is seeking proposals in response to this Request for Proposal from entities to provide fresh produce to the Bulloch County School District for fiscal year 2026-2027. The District is committed to its “Farm to School” program, and endeavors to work with one or more vendors that support the District’s vision of bringing fresh, local, and high-quality produce to schools.

Local Proteins
The District is seeking proposals in response to this Request for Proposal from entities to provide fresh locally raised and processed protein to the Bulloch County School District for fiscal year 2026 to 2027. The District is committed to its Farm to School program, and endeavors to work with one or more vendors that support the District’s vision of bringing fresh, local, and high-quality food to schools. We define locally as: raised and processed within a 200-mile radius of Bulloch County.
This request for proposals is intended to result in a fixed price contract for one year, July 01, 2026, to July 31, 2027. The Bulloch County School System is tax-exempt.

Student Chromebooks
Posted: March 16, 2027
Purpose: The Information Technology Department of Bulloch County Schools extends this offer for the possible purchase of approximately 1600 Chromebooks conforming to the designated specifications, terms, and conditions for the instructional and administrative programs. Services will begin on or about July 1, 2026, with an initial contract duration through June 30, 2027. The contract is subject to approval by the Bulloch County Board of Education.

Bid Questions: Should any vendor have questions, the form prescribed in Appendix A shall be used, one question per form. All questions should be sent via email to David Avera, Director of Technology, Bulloch County Schools. Upon receipt, all questions will be logged, dated and numbered. The answers to such questions will be posted on this webpage, for access by all vendors who respond to he bid with no identification of the vendor(s) submitting the question.
Bid Deadline: March 27, 2026, by 1 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). Bids will be opened a 2 p.m. on this date for evaluation. The bid is expected to be awarded in April 2026.
Fiber Backbones for Southeast Bulloch High & Brooklet Elementary

Purpose: Bulloch County Schools' Information Technology Department requests bids for replacing the fiber backbones at two of its schools. The fiber is for internal connections, preferably TiniFiber or equivalent.
School Locations: Each school is to be quoted separately.
