Sponsorship & Donor Opportunities

Local sponsors and community partners have stepped up to support this project. Individuals and businesses can make tax deductible contributions to our Bulloch County Foundation for Public Education, and request that the funds be earmarked to sustain the Get on the Bus project.  In-kind gifts or labor, books or supplies are also valued, and can be donated by contacting Dr. Yvette Ledford.

  • Books-a-Million of Statesboro has donated books to help stock the bus mobile.
  • Walmart Distribution Center has donated $2,500.
  • Whitfield Signs is helping ensure the bus is a visually appealing roving beacon for literacy.
  • Other community partners include the Statesboro Regional Library, Altrusa International Club of Statesboro, Ogeechee Technical College, Digital Office Equipment, Boy Scouts of America (Pack 935), Madison Meadows, Little Lotts Creek, Merritt & Merritt Law Firm, Elm Street Church of God, African American Business Owners Community Foundation, and Concerned Clergy of Statesboro.

To be part of the Get on the Bus project, contact Dr. Yvette Ledford, 912.212.8558, vledford@bullochschools.org, or Jennifer Agnew, 912.212.8570, jagnew@bullochschools.org
