Strategic Planning Community Advisory Committee 

A core group of approximately 40 stakeholder representatives will meet three times to provide guidance and feedback throughout  Bulloch County Schools' strategic planning process.  Members of this committee will include school board members, parents, students, school system employees, business and industry leaders, postsecondary institution leaders, and community support group representatives (including health & human services, local government, media, public safety, ministerial, fine arts, agri-business and military).  Major topics for discussion during these meetings are outlined as follows:

  • March 7 – Overview of the process and the committee’s role; Discussion of the broad concepts to be addressed; College and Career Readiness in Bulloch County; Review of existing data to provide a picture of our current status; Input on Focus Group sessions; Next Steps
  • April 2 – Review data collected thus far; Review plans for Community Education Summit
  • May 16 – Review results of Education Summit and summary data collected to date; Review draft report
