Location: Statesboro High School Contact: 912-663-1125
Start Time: 8:00 AM End Time: 9:30 AM

As part of our partnership with the Bulloch County Commission on Human Services and the Grants to Reduce Alcohol Abuse education grants, we are able to facilitate, annual "Ghost Out" events for our high school students.

Organized by Renee Perry, a Communities Mobilizing for Change on Alcohol Coordinator (CMCA), the events will be held at Southeast Bulloch High at 8:15 - 9:30 a.m. on March 29, and at Statesboro High April 5, 8:14 - 9:30 a.m. Portal Middle High School Students will participate in the SHS event.

The event includes live, DUI-related car crash simulations. EMS, Fire, Sheriffs Office, Statesboro PD, and the EVAC agencies will all be involved. The purpose of the event is to promote awareness of the dangers of underage drinking, especially as we enter prom season. Please note that because our public safety personnel play a major role in this event, the community will see multiple law enforcement vehicles at these schools on these days.

For more information contact Renee Perry, CMCA Coordinator at 912.663.1125 or rperry@bulloch.k12.ga.us
