LCMS "Because of the Brave" Veterans Day Program

Langston Chapel Middle School will present a Veteran's Day Program, "Because of the Brave," that honors the dedication, commitment and sacrifice of our local military heroes. This student-led program will feature Dr. Charles Webb as the guest speaker, the Statesboro High School JROTC Honor Guard and Exhibition Team, and performances by the LCMS Band and Chorus, under the direction of Holly Lloyd and Lawanda Allen. A Missing Man Ceremony, in memory and honor of those missing in action or who were prisoners of war, will be led by Christine Stripling and JROTC Cadet Andrew Dollar. The veteran, active duty military and the community are invited to attend. Prior to the program, LCMS will host a reception for all military guests at 1:00 p.m.
