Accountability for the education of Bulloch County's more than 9,400 students flows from the Board of Education to the Superintendent of Schools, administrative leadership team, principals, teachers and system employees.
The Bulloch County Board of Education governs the county's educational process. The Board is comprised of eight representatives, one elected from each of the eight geographical districts within the county.
The Superintendent of Schools oversees the administrative leadership of the district's 15 schools and one performance learning center, and the superintendent is accountable to the Board for decisions made and actions taken within the district administration.
The administrative leadership team is comprised of the 15 school principals, the performance learning center's director, the Superintendent and other key administrative personnel.
